Cheat: Increase Weapon Damage

To access the sound test, defeat Super Bubble Bobble mode and get a happy ending.

Unlockable: Stage Select

To start on any level, enter the password “DDFFI”. Move the cursor to one-player or two-player continue, then press B to change your starting level.

Hint: Best Ending

In Room 99, take the Crystal to Room A0. In Room B3, fire at the final enemy until it’s covered with a bubble. Now, press Start to bring in the second player. Pop the bubble and you’ll get the happy ending.

Hint: Steal A Life
This code is for 2-player Bubble Bobble. If either player is out of lives, press Start then Select, and the dead player will steal a life from the living player. Please note: This will not work while warping to the next level.

Bonks Adventure Virtual Console Cheats

Unlockable: Stage Select and Sound Test

Bomberman 93 Virtual Console Cheats

Cheat Menu

To access a stage-select and power-up configuration menu, play a one-player game until you have 300 points. Now kill yourself and choose “END” from the “Game Over” screen.

Wait for the game to run one round of action in demo mode. When the clouds appear on the screen before the BOMBERMAN title comes up, press Down and hold it while you press and hold Select + I + II. This must be done before the title unfolds on the screen.

When the full title and “Game Start” menu appear, continue holding the buttons and press Run. DON’T RELEASE THE OTHER BUTTONS. When the intro sequence begins, press Run once more to reveal the “Special Select Room” menu.
