Fired Up Cheats
Destroy tank
Platform: PSP
While fighting the big tank at the end, go up any of the ramps to the higher levels. Hide behind one of the four shield generators, then an intermission sequence wil show the tank firing homing rockets at you. Do not move yet. The tank will now fire lasers at you, which can sometimes come through the walls. Reverse so that you are not hit and destroy the shield generator. Move to the next one after the lasers have finished and repeat the process. If you get badly damaged, go to the garage and change vehicles. However, this can be done with the one vehicle. When all the shields are down, the tank can now be destroyed. Do not get too close or it will fire grenades at you. Use the plasma. Run as soon as the tank says “Preparing homing rockets”, then attack it again.

Hint: Easy Leveling
Have the Judgment Staff in your inventory so that Flare can be easily cast. Have all but one character dead in your party, and to be safe have that character be at least level 50. Then, go to the second floor of the Chaos Shrine. Fight Green Dragons and Black Knights that reside there. When in battle, use the Judgment Staff to cast Flare, which will instantaneously kill the foes (although a second round of Flare casting may be needed). The experience points (EXP) dropped by the Green Dragons and Black Knights is staggering and will allow you to quickly level up your character, one at a time.
Hint: Easy Leveling II
When your party receives the boat and can go on water to fight water-based enemies, you will be able to easily level-up. Find a place where you can travel around the entire world map via water without running into land. Tape down the directional button and the X button (or put something else heavy on it), making sure your party is around level 20 or higher in order to withstand the attacks that will occur. Then, walk away, keeping the occasional eye on the game to make sure your party hasn’t been slain. If done properly, your party will quickly and easily level up in this way.
Hint: An Unlimited Item
After unlocking the Earth Gift Shrine (by relighting the Earth Crystal), head there to find an item that increases your life permanently by five (it’s in the desert section of the Shrine). If you continue on in the shrine and lose to one of the four bosses within, it will send you back to the beginning of the Shrine, but you’ll still have that item. What’s more, you can get the item again when you proceed through the Shrine once more. You can repeat this process over and over again to get the item as many times as you want!

Unlockable: Onion Knight
To unlock the Onion Knight as an option for any given character, that character must be a level six Chemist and
a level six Squire.
Hint: Friendly Fire
During random battles (not
story-driven battles), getting experience and JP are vital to the growth of your characters. Since enemies in random battles can almost always be handled rather easily by your party (as they grow with the strength of your party), you can eliminate all but one member of the enemy party rather easily. Leaving that enemy alive, you should then have your characters attack one another, healing with Chemist skills and White Magic if you can, until you can no longer survive without killing off your party. Then, go after the final enemy and eliminate it to finish the battle. By doing this, you can create experience and JP you wouldnt have gotten in the battle otherwise, lessening the amount of random battles youll have to fight to build your characters levels.
Hint: Friendly Fire & Chocobo
If you have a Chocobo in your party, youll no doubt know that they have Choco Cure, a useful skill that can be used over and over again. Choco Cure restores some of the Chocobos HP, as well as characters in front of it, behind it, and to the left and right of it. If you try executing the hint entitled “Friendly Fire”, having a Chocobo in your party to heal characters grouped together each round will allow you to survive the fight even longer, building experience and JP levels even higher.
Hint: JP Boost
Although its tempting to immediately branch out from the Squire job, stay with the job until you earn enough JP to purchase the JP Boost skill. With this equipped on any other job, JP earned in battle will be increased significantly, allowing you to acquire skills for other jobs more rapidly than you otherwise would have been able to.
Hint: New Jobs
There are two new jobs in this release of the game that werent in the original PSX release - Onion Knight and Dark Knight.
Unlockable: Dark Knight
Unlocking one of the two new job classes in the PSP version of Final Fantasy Tactics is a bit of a chore. The Dark Knight has many pre-requisites to unlock, but once thats done, youll have a powerful job on your hands.
To unlock the Dark Knight class, you must completely master the Knight and Black Mage classes - that is, learn each of their skills. Also, achieve the eighth level with the Dragoon, Geomancer, Ninja, and Samurai jobs. You must also must have killed twenty enemies in battle to the point that the enemy disappears from the battlefield (three rounds).

Hint: Experience With Toad
If you have a Black Mage, have him or her learn the spell Toad. Then, transform all of the enemies on the field into toads. Kill any enemies that arent able to be turned. Then, you can attack and heal your own party to build experience and JP for as long as you want with no threat from the enemies. When youre done, you can then kill the toads for an easy victory.
