Tips for Defeating Minion

Platform: Playstation 2

Minion is very tough to defeat if you dont know how to d it right. You can pretty much figure out how to kill him the hard way. If you dont, heres the hard way: Minion has a force shield. This can be damaged, and removed, but not very easily. Use missiles to damage the shield. Dont use the homing missile (purple), because youll miss hi sweet spot almost every time. His shields are on the very front andthe very back. He also has two small ones on either side. Destroy those with preferablly fire and power missles/rockets. Now, this is the easier way to kill him, and I just figured this out: Whe you first start the battle, Minion is all the way on the other side. You automatically start with a few weapons, including 1 special attack. Turn to face Minion straight on, as if you were going to collide into him. Switch to your special, aim for the very front of his vehicle. One dead center hit should knock him out in one blow, and viola, you win. This only works with characters whoses special is something that shoots out. For example, Crazy 8s (taxi) special will not kill Minion in one shot at he beginning because its an electrical zapper, and it doesny reach that far.

Sewers level

Platform: Playstation 2

Begin game play on the Skyscrapers level.Switch the view to the farthest away from the vehicle.At the bottom of the crashed plane and to the left(if you were exiting the plane)is a small billboards at about car level.Shoot it down–you may have to be on the next building )the way the billboard faces) to do so.It will now bridge the gap between the two buildings. Put yourself in the center of the board and aim yourself toward the inner part of the hole. Head in at regular speed. You will have to lose a life to get this cube.

Warhawks level:

Platform: Playstation 2

On the Junkyard level in story mode with any character, shoot down the green Pizza Boy statue (near the Old Warplane and crane). His pizza box will fall near the vertical crusher and form a ramp. Go to the ramp and line yourself up to the crusher. When the crusher falls, use the ramp. When on top of the crusher, there will be a building you can drive through to get some weapons.Off the side of that will be a rotating black cube. Jump off to the black cube to unlock the Warhawk level in multi-player mode.

Skyscrapers level

Platform: Playstation 2

Once on Warhawks rooftop in story mode, there is a building in the background where the Minions Tankers flies off to your building. Face near the edge of that side and switch the camera view to the farthest selection. You should see a black cube slightly off the building. You will loose one life when the cube is collected, but the Skyscrapers level will be unlocked in multi-player mode. Note: The way to jump is in the direction of where the tankers appear.

Axel:

Platform: Playstation 2

Go to the Freeway level. It is recommended that you destroy all but one or two of the other vehicles before proceeding. Toward the center of this level is a large construction site with two big cranes. The one on the right is holding a pipe, the one on the left is holding a crate. Use the ridge between the cranes and the road and aim yourself at the control box of the left crane (at the center box). You only need to hit it once with some kind of missile. The crate will then lower into the construction yard. Shoot it open to unlock Axel.

Man Slaughter:

Platform: Playstation 2

Once the ship docks on the island in the Prison Passage level and you can exit the boat, go to the right (left if facing the ship). Follow the waterline until you reach some crates. Shoot them up until a ramp is formed. Shoot the side of the ship until a opening appears. You will find and unlock Man Slaughter there.

Minion:

Platform: Playstation 2

Unlock all of the secret characters, then successfully complete the game in story mode with all of the regular and secret characters. A FMV sequence showing Minion reassembling and a “Beware of Minion” message will appear. He appears after Sweet Tooth on the character selection screen.

Warthog:

Platform: Playstation 2

Start the Suburbs level and go to the entrance to the carnival. Turn left and jump off a hill to land on top of a building with a structure on top of it. Blow up the structure to reveal a hole in the building. Fall through the hole and destroy the panel. A message stating Warthog has been unlocked will appear.

Yellow Jacket:

Platform: Playstation 2

Play the Junkyard level and shoot down the airplane that circles around. A fire missile will do the job, as long as the jet is the only thing in view. The jet will catch on fire, circle, and crash into a wall in the lowest area of the level, that leads to a underground tunnel. The suspended crates opening faces this area. Follow the tunnel under the sewers, collect the weapons and health, and continue until you see a control panel attached to a large column in the middle of a circular room. Shoot the control panel and a message stating Yellow Jacket has been unlocked will appear. Yellow Jacket will appear inside the destroyed column.

Elevators level:

Platform: Playstation 2

Begin game play on the Highway Loop level. Make sure that there are no more than one (preferred) or two enemies remaining. Go to the bridge with the gap in it. Go to the side opposite the long tunnel. Facing away from the bridge and to the left on the other side of the wall, you can see two round towers at what seems to be a powerplant. Hit the one closest to the bridge with a gas can. It will pop off and start rolling toward the bridge. Make sure you and none of the enemies are in its path or it will break. It will slowly jump the bridge and will make a hole just inside the tunnel. You will find the cube inside.

Freeway level:

Platform: Playstation 2

Start an endurance match in the Snowy Roads level. Get ten consecutive kills without being killed.

Minions Stadium level:

Platform: Playstation 2

Begin game play on the Downtown level. Locate the set of buildings connected at the second story on one side of the river/bayou. You can find it easily since when you drive between them, there is a big section of wall that is very visible that you can shoot out to get to the elevators. There is one on each building. When facing the buildings from the river, take the left-hand elevator up. Then, circle around to the back of the building. Along the way you will notice that the ground changes color. About one car length to the left of that line is where you want to creep to the edge and barely fall off. You should hit the cube while falling. If not, you should be on a different level off of the ground — jump (press R1 + L1) to get the cube. It can be seen from the ground floor once you know where to look.

Power Plant level:

Platform: Playstation 2

Head to the end of the Snowy Roads level with the longer building. Face the drop and head to the left side of that gap. Slowly roll over the edge, and there should be a lower level with the cube on it.

Special attacks:

Unlimited Gold

When you get the Chief Fisherman’s’ Daughter, go to the beach where she goes to find the Aquamarine. When you fight the little Jewel Leapers. they give you the stones that are needed to make Runes. Get a large number of them and some gold, then go to the Rune-Makers shop. You will want to Refine those Gems into Runes, which cost 230 gold. When they are refined, the Rune Shop will buy them back at 400 to 500 gold.

Extra items

When the game first starts and you are in the castle, go to where you get the Small Lithograph and the Fire Rune. Go to the bridge where you came from and fight all the enemies. Next, go back into the place where you get the Small Lithograph and Fire Rune then exit. Keep repeating this and you will get all sorts of stock, mainly Medicines and Red Stones. You also will get experience points that make you stronger. To get even more items, when you fight use the Counter Guard. You will get Tactical Bonuses and more items.

Tribes: Aerial Assault Cheats

Extra Points/Kills

An easy way to earn extra points and kills during Deathmatches is to set up as many remote turrets and sensors as possible. You will be awarded extra points just for placing these, plus the turrets will attack and kill most enemies who come within its range, giving whoever set up that turret the kill points. The sensors allow the turrets to attack enemies that are longer distances away from the turrets position. This is also an easier way to hold a base during capture and hold missions/matches.

Protect Your Flag & Base

You can protect your flag by surrounding it with mines and also keep remote turrets nearby. You need to keep your generator room protected with remote turrets. To get remote turrets set medium/heavy armor and your backpack needs to be the remote turret. Aim where you want to place it, press circle, and fire (L2). Hope this helps all you newbies.

Secret statue

Start a one player bot match. Set “Bots” to “Off” and “Max Team” to “1″. Choose the Slapdash level under the CTF heading. Go to the vehicle station and get yourself a jet (easier to see). Follow the perimeter of the level (next to the out of bounds wall) until you reach a clearing in the top right corner. Get out and look in the area to find a statue.

Secret conversation options

To say phrases to other players not previously capable of such as “Repair me”, “I need a ride”, and others, create a character to your liking. Then, in your buddy list enter “CHAT-TEST”. Note: This code will only work in the rooms marked “Inevitable” with an arrow pointed towards them.

Onslaught

During the Onslaught mission, the best strategy for surviving the Derm Forces is to simply repair the generator, then repair the two turrets. One is on a hill and another is up towards the roof opening. After that is accomplished, go up to the roof opening where the flag is located in the capture the flag games, Then, go to the nearest Inventory Station and select Medium Armor. Select your pack as Remote Turret. Deploy two turrets on each end of the turret side of the base and deploy a few more where each opening to the basement is located (near each of the Inventory Stations). Then, hide and let your Mortar Turrets (you should have switched them at the beginning) and Remote Turrets do all the work. After the first wave is over, switch to the Heavy Armor (Juggernaut Armor) with a Shield Pack (activate it frequently).

Satchel charges

During the first deathmatch, get to the tower. There will be satchel charges that you can plant.

Quick ammunition

When you are in need of ammunition and do not have an ammo pack (but for example have an energy pack), on some maps there are bunkers with packs in them. If you do not have an ammo pack and there is one on the ground, swap for whatever pack you have to get instant ammunition. You can do this back and forth as many times as needed.

Picking off enemies

There are many floating patches of land that are some times useful to pick off enemies. Some of the soldiers will see you before they get killed and start shooting underneath you. If this happens, jump off, spin, and while in the air, shoot him.

Run over enemy for fast kills

Set the map to be a capture the flag level and make sure it has flat land, but a long stretch between the bases. There can be mountains, but make sure the path back and forth is just flat land. A good example would be Katabatik (a snow level). Get your vehicle to a fighter and set it to third person vehicle under the player menu during game play. This allows you to see where you are driving a lot more than in a first person vehicle. Drive around in the air between the bases, but stay away from the enemy bases. They will more than likely have a heat seeking turret waiting for you. When an enemy approaches your base, fly down and hit him from above, from in front, from behind, or from the sides. It will instantly kill him if done correctly. It can sometimes be difficult, but will be easy most of the time.

Single player Botmatch survival and fighting

Use the following tactics to stay alive longer in a battle and get a good number of kills and points before you die. Always set your Inventory to Medium Armor and guns to Spinfusor, Chaingun, Missile Launcher, and the Blaster. Save the Blaster for last — since it runs on jetpack fuel, you have unlimited ammunition for it. Next, set your Pack to Repair Kit. When injured badly, hide in a mountain pit on the sides and use this to regain energy, then continue your assault. It also makes for healing your Base Turrets and Sensors. Set your Grenades to Flares (in case Heat Seeking Missiles target you or a fellow teammate. Set your Vehicle to Fighter, since it has agility, powerful Twin Heavy Blasters, and is easy to control. Now that you are set up for battle, get to an Inventory Station. Get equipped, then get to the Vehicle Station and hop into your Fighter. You are ready for combat. Use the following tricks for a better chance of a successful assault. Use your Fighter to fly over there, shooting at any enemy target that you see. Get to their base, and if a Heat Seeker starts to lock on to you, quickly land your jet somewhere safe. Get to the top of a mountain where you have a good view on their base and they can see you. Stealth is always the key to survival. Do not blow your cover. Stand there, use your lock on, and shoot at targets. To increase your chances, locate their main Sensors and Base Turrets and destroy them. If there is no one in your way and you are feeling lucky, try to make a run for their base. Get in there and take out their generators to slow them down a lot more. Then, get back to your hideout, making sure no one is following or watching you. The AI opponents will not remember where you respawn. If you are playing online, get in your fighter and break back for the base, because you will survive too much longer.

Turrets and armor

The following turrets are best against the corresponding armors:

Missile Turret: Light and Medium armor.
Plasma Turret: Devastating to Heavy Armor as well as Light and Medium.
Mortar Turret: Heavy armor.
Anti-Aircraft Turret: All armors.
Sentry Turret: Note: You cannot deploy it. The Sentry Turret destroy anything and is best avoided.

Tree Stealth

First, play the paranoia level. Then go to the inferno side and there will be a tree. Jet pack up to the top. Look down at the top of the tree, in between the leaves you should see the top of the tree. Try to land on this, and then position yourself where you are between the leaves.
