Wireframe Mode
Enter your name as LINEAR to activate wireframe mode. To deactivate the code, enter it as your name a second time.
Tron Mode
Enter your name as NEUTRON to activate Tron mode. To deactivate the code, enter it as your name a second time.
Overhead View
Enter your name as SPYEYE at the name entry screen (NOT the password screen) which can be reached from the bike selection screen in Contest mode, and you will be able to play XG2 Micro Machines style.
Rotating Camera
If the speed of XG2 isnt enough to induce motion sickness, how about making the screen turn constantly while you race? Simply enter your name as SPIRAL at the bike options screen.
Venom Superbike
If you want to race as Hotra Toxic with her super-fast Venom Bike, come in first on the Atomic Contest — or, if youre too lazy, enter the password: 868QCMH3H9HT
Super Speed
If the game isnt fast enough for you, enter your name as XXX.
Fast Start
To get a fast start with any bike, rev your bike up until it is almost close to the second block in the speed meter. When the announcer says go, immediately press and hold Z to start ahead of the other racers!
Unlimited Weapons
Enter your name as MISTAKE for unlimited weapons. To deactivate the code, enter it as your name a second time.
Ugly Mode
To disable antialiasing, enter your name as PIXIE. To deactivate the code, enter it as your name a second time.
Wipeout Mode
For those that love Wipeout this one is for you. Start a contest and enter your name as “2064″ at the name entry screen. This will convert your motorcycles into futuristic planes.
Blurry Mode
Enter your name as FLICK to be blurry while racing. To deactivate the code, enter it as your name a second time.
No Screen Panels
To turn off all on-screen information displays enter your name as NOPANEL.
Remove an Engine
Enter your name as MISPLACE to remove one engine from your car.
Level Skip
Enter your name as RA50 then start a race. While racing, press START to pause the game then select QUIT and say YES. When you get to the placing screen select “Go, Go” and youll be advanced to the next level.
More Multiplayer Levels
To unlock more multiplayer levels, enter the Venom or Wasp Superbike codes, then enter the password N31GG76CG9DZ.
Random Course Selection
If you enter your name as JUGGLE you will have random courses on single player timetrials.

Cheat Codes
Enter your name as:
ANTIGRAV - race on your head
ROLLER - race like stone
BANANA - bike gets hard to control
Xtreme - to race with extreme high speed
GHOSTLEY - to race in a spooky environment
UGLEYMODE - get Lo-Fi graphics
FISHEYE - for a long distance view
MAGNIFY - for a short distance view
Boulder Dash
We cant get you into the Rolling Stones, but heres the next best thing. Start a new Contest and press R at the bike selection screen. When the name prompt appears, press R again and enter your name as “roller”.
Extreme Speed
For the ultimate challenge, try the “Extreme Mode.” Simply enter “xtreme” as your name at the name selection screen (Contest Mode) and XG cranks up the speed even more. Combine with Fisheye for some insane action.
Extremely Ghostly
Enter the word “ghostly” at the name entry screen (Contest Mode) and all the track polygons will be transparent. You can now see right through walls and even the very ground you race on.
Fisheye Lens
Go to CONTEST mode and enter your name as “fisheye” (all lower case.) If you did it right youll hear a tone and the screen will be distorted when you start racing.
Mega Jump
When you go off a ramp, use the Super Boost then press DOWN on the control stick.
Race as the Extreme Team
Try out this fun Easter Egg: Enter your name as “XGTEAM” at the name entry screen (you should hear a confirmation noise), then go back and change it to the first name of one of the games programmers, such as Ash, Greg, John, Shawn, Justin (you can find more names in the credits). Tthe faces of the Extreme team will now appear on top of the bikes.
Random Weapons
For a touch of chaos, enter your name as “arsenal”. Youll receive a different type of missile every few seconds.
Slippery Track
Enter “banana” at the name entry screen (Contest Mode). The tracks are now super slippery and the racing is even tougher!
Ugly Mode
Enter “uglymode” at the name selection screen (Contest) and you can see what Extreme-G would look like without mip-mapping and texture transparencies.
Wireframe Mode
Want to know what a Color Virtual Boy version of Extreme-G would look like? Start a new Contest and enter your name as “wired” (all lower keys). This will eliminate all textures and only give you wireframes.
Win by Quitting
Enter your name as “RA50″ at the name selection screen. If you now quit during a race at any point, the game will still pretend that you finished it in whatever position you were when you selected the quit option.
Unlimited Nitros
So Extreme-G is still not fast enough for you? Enter the word “nitroid” at the name selection screen and you get unlimited turbo boosts. Try this code with the fisheye code for some of the fastest racing ever seen!
Ultra Speed Burst
When you go through a nitro haze, use your own nitro for an extreme burst of speed.
Stealth Mode
Enter “stealth” (all lower keys) at the name select screen (Contest Mode) and you will hear a confirmation sound. Now start a race and all drivers should be invisible, but you can still see their shadows and weapons.
Shoot Fergus
The programmers of Extreme-G have hidden the face of Probes director in the game. Enter your name as “FERGUS,” then go into the Shoot em Up Mode. The drones will now have turned into Ferguss face.
Race Upside Down
Enter the word “antigrav” at the name entry screen (Contest Mode) and you will finally be able to race upside down without standing on your head.
Play as the Roach
To earn the Roach you must first finish Contest Mode on the Meltdown setting.
Magnify Mode
Enter the word “magnify” (all lower keys) at the name entry screen and your view will be strangely distorted (magnified). Your bike is now at the very bottom and everything will seem huge.
All Tracks and Bonus Cars
For access to all tracks, the Roach, the Neon and the bonus track, enter the password 81GGD5 (American version) or 61GGD5 (European.)
Play as the Neon
To play as the Neon you must beat Meltdown on Extreme difficulty level with a regular bike.
