Fast Forward Text
When text appears press Z to fast-forward or A to skip it entirely.
Defeating the Queen
To really let her have it, shoot her in the HEAD with the manually guided missiles (the one to the left of the big shoulder cannon when you select your weapon).
To kill her in phase 2 (the caterpillar) turn to face her and then shoot a manually guided missile at her head and then once you know its aimed properly dont wait for it to hit her, shoot another one and aim it again. Repeat this process until she is dead.
Note: If you get hit while maneuvering a guided missle you will lose control of it and you will have to try again.
This tip is most effective when you activate the All Weapons and Health Refill code. Keep refilling your life and weapons to make sure that you dont run out of ammo and die.

CPU characters in battle mode
At the battle mode character selection screen, hold Z and press A to use the CPU characters.
Music option
Successfully complete story mode to unlock the music option.
Battle royal mode
Win the gold cup in survival mode to unlock battle royal mode.
King and knights mode

Hints:
Guardian Boots
In Starlight, after you get the lightning bombs, return to the start. Enter the next area. Push on the middle left, where a golden statue used to be. You should enter a room. Lightning bomb the platform to get the Guardian Boots. You can now permanently kick bombs. Guardian Gloves
In Planet Horizon, after the area where you defeat Ashtarth, go down the stairs. Get the bomb throw, and go to the door in the "Up" area (not the one you came from). Get the Remote Control (bomb the statue and collect it) and step on the two buttons. Go back. Enter the door on the right. Move right, then put the statues on the buttons as was done during the first time in Planet Horizon. Wind bomb to the elevator platform. Throw a bomb downwards and press Z at the top of its arc. It should take away a small pillar object. Return to the beginning of the room. Go up the stairs. Wind bomb yourself across. In the next room, lightning bomb the platform and grab the part to get the Guardian Gloves.
Guardian Vest
In Aquanet, just at the beginning on your right are three pillars. Use an earth bomb here. Enter the hidden doorway on the left. Lightning bomb the platform to get the Guardian Vest.
Guardian Helmet
In Neverland, go to the point with the lava strip in the middle and two knights on the sides. Use a dark bomb at the end of the strip, which resembles a small door, and it will open. Use an ice bomb to freeze the lava in front of it, then walk through. Lightning bomb the platform to get the Guardian Helmet.

Millans Treasure Hunt
To get the Millans Treasure Hunt option in the options menu you must get all 6 gold medals (including the one on Gossick). When you get all 6 gold medals you will get this option in the option menu. Good Luck in finding all 24 treasures.
Ice Slider
To get this option you must have at least 3 gold medals on any world. Once you get at least 3 you will see this option in the options menu. In this mini game you will race one of the snowman. You get the slider. Good Luck on beating him.
Gold Bomber
To get the Gold Bomber option you must get 5 gold medals. When you get 5 gold medals you will see the Gold Bomber in the option menu. This is a set of 3 more levels. You start in the sea. You will be totally gold. Good Luck on beating these 3 levels
Planet Gossick
To get to Gossick (a hidden planet) you must get the special bombs in every level. It is very simple to get the special bombs. But it is impossible to get a gold medal on every level. To get a gold medal place all your clear points on 5. Gossick will then be avalible.

Bonus Battle Levels - Japanese Version
If you have the import version of Hudsons Bomberman 64, you can find some cool hidden battle levels.
You need the Hudson JoyCard 64 controller for this to work. Go to the title screen, put the “Slow Switch” on position Hu and wait five seconds. You should now hear a sound that confirms that the trick worked. Choose Battle Mode and you can access four new secret stages.
Bonus Level
To access the Rainbow Palace, collect all 100 Gold Cards and beat Altair again.
Quick Recover
When Bomberman is dizzy, move the analog stick around until he recovers.
Endgame Bonus
Get all the Gold Cards then beat Sirius in the Rainbow Palace. Now go to the Options screen and select Options. Congratulations! You may now preview the ending and credits whenever you want. You can also play two new levels in battle mode.
Sound Test
To access a sound test option, beat the game in Adventure mode at normal difficulty.
View Credits
First beat the game with 100 Gold Cards, then finish the extra world by defeating Sirius. A CREDITS option will appear on the OPTIONS menu.
Weird Skating Trick
For this trick, you MUST have a heart, and remote bombs help. In Black Fortress, on the level with the cars, stand on the very edge of a platform, and place a bomb, but dont move. The bomb should be underneath you. When a car is coming, detonate the bomb, and hopefully you will lose your heart, go spinning around like always when you lose a heart, and fall off the platform into the path of the car while you are still flashing. Once you have stopped flashing, you can move around, but Bombermans legs will not move! He looks like he is standing still, but moving!
Unfortunately, you cant throw bombs like this, only kick them, so just grab your heart again, and run into a car so your heart flies out, and run along to get it again. Its not much, but it looks pretty cool.
Secret Room In Snow Land
This trick really serves no purpose except to spy on a snowman. Go to the Snow level. On level one in the first room, go create the avalanche. When the avalanche is gone, go up all the way to the top of the hill, and fall left off the edge. There is a snowman on the ledge, but dont bother with him. Go strait up. In the corner you can go into a little secret room, and watch the snowman! It doesnt help that much, and if you blow up the far wall, you get a prize, but thats pretty much it.
Secret Areas in White 1
Make your way to the place where the wind blows. Climb to the second level of that area and and get close to the wall and change your camera angle. You will see an area with a lot of plants. Walk through the wall into this area and blow up the plants. You will find lots of dimonds and power-ups.
To find the other secret, destroy the ice covering the sign and read it. It will warn of avalances. You have to cause an avalance to get here. So go to the top of the hill [the one on the left when you start] and place a bomb at the very top. When it explodes, youll have to run!!! Run to avoid the falling snow. When it clears up, run to the top and then go fall onto the platform with the snowman on it. Run to the wall and rub on it until you find a passage. On easy mode theres a powerup, and on the hard mode theres a custom piece.
Special Traps
Highlight battlemode and press START very, very, very fast until you hear a chime. Go to battle. mow go to options. Put battle on any number. Put time on i minute. Sudden death on. And ghost on. Go to single battle. Choose your charecters and put all computers on 1 crystal. Now choose your stage. When the timer reaches 59 seconds it will say hurry hup and you better run!!! All the traps will come in effect. The traps are listed below.

Surreal Mode
Enter your name as ICHEAT then start a new game. While playing, press C-Down, Up, Right, Right, C-Right, A, Left.
More Powerful Weapons
Enter your name as ICHEAT then start a new game. While playing, press C-Down, C-Up, Up, Z, Z, Left, C-Right.
All Weapons
Enter your name as ICHEAT then start a new game. While playing, press A, Right, C-Down, C-Right, C-Up, A, Left.
Fat Legs
Enter your name as ICHEAT then start a new game. While playing, press Left, A, Right, Down to give the aliens fat legs.
Mutant Alien
Enter your name as ICHEAT then start a new game. While playing, press C-Down, Up, Z, Z, C-Right, Right.
This code makes a mutant alien appear. Normally the harvester alien would have to eat 6 or more people to have a mutant alien appear, but with this code all you have to do is type in the code while battling a harvester alien and it will say “mutant cheat” and youll see a mutant alien. If you kill it, you get 1500 points and youre saving 6 people.
WATCH OUT! The mutant alien will try to smash you so keep running from it!
Artifacts of Java
The first alien artifact in the Java level is in Java 1. After recieving the boat parts while you are on your way back the “rat free” villiage, there is a long grassy path on the left where there was an alien warrior. This leads up to an old mans house with the alien artifact inside.
The second artifact can be found after you access the Black Harbour military base. Get on any flying machine and fly back to java 3. To the far east, right along the force field there is a landing area with other planes and a shanty housing the artifact.
The final artifact is found on the flight south to the processor. On the west side about halfway there, there is a runway and a building with the artifat inside.
Smart Bomb
Enter your name as ICHEAT then start the game. While playing, press A, C-Up, C-Up, Up+Left to launch a smart bomb. The bomb will destroy all minor enemies, shield generators and processors on the screen.
Restore Health and Fuel
Enter ICHEAT as a name. Then, press Down, Up, Right, A, B, Left, C-Right during game play.
All Artifacts
Enter ICHEAT as a name. Then, press Up, C-Down, C-Right, Z, Up, Left during game play.
Kill Adam

Find Hangar Key
To get the Hangar key perform the following: Get the TNT out of the tunnel and go to the big boulder. Blow it up. Then go straight until you get to the hill on the right. Go up the hill and go in the house on the top. Go inside and talk to the guy. Hell tell you if you that if you find the key you can have it. Go to the dresser and press A. Youll bang on it and it will open up to reveal the key.
Unlimited Dynamite in the First Level
In the first level there is a mountain with a chest of dynamite. As you use up your supply you can go back again and again to get more. The maximum you can get is three.
