Final Fantasy Legend II Cheats
Walk Anywhere!
This cheat is something I found by pure chance and have never seen printed elsewhere:
First off, you must have either a Mutant M or a Mutant F in your party. When you are in the world with the Dragon Race, enter the dragon race (you can pick any dragon you want, but I prefer the slowest one; it’s free.) . You will meet with 1 to 4 bosses, depending on which dragon you choose. The last boss is called a Watcher. SAVE IMMEDIATELY before you fight it. Fight the Watcher until your Mutant receives the skill Teleport (This can take multiple resets to accomplish, but don’t give up!!) Teleport anywhere, it doesn’t matter, just make sure you’re riding the dragon while you do it!! You will end up at your destination riding your dragon (It might not LOOK like a dragon; as a matter of fact it can sometimes look really glitchy, but it won’t affect your game. Don’t worry.). Now walk around. Bingo!! Ever wanted to cruise on those damn mountains? Now you can! Have fun!!
Sound Test
On the Title screen, simultaneously press Select, B and Start. Change the number by pressing Left/Right, and listen by pressing the A button.
Final Fantasy Legend III Cheats
Underwater City
For this you will need the Dive and Float spells. Use the the float spell to get to the town of Elan (where Granny and Chronos live). To the North of Elan, there should be a bay. use the dive spell to go underwater. The city should be right in front of you. Also, to the right of Elan is a sunken ship with two chests inside.
Free Elixer
When you enter Castle Chaos, there are escalators in front of you. Counting from the left, take the second escalator. While going up, keep walking to the right. You should walk into a secret room with a chest inside. Inside that chest is an elixer. NOTE: Castle Chaos is underwater so youll need the dive spell to get there.
Mystic Sword Locations 2
The Durend Sword is at the top of Mt. Hasbad. You have to fight Guya to get it. Xcalibr is in Zhakal. Now, enter the underworld, and go to the mushroom complex furthest south. The EMBLEM is there. Now go to Crevasse Cave inside is the cursed Sword of Murasmas(see Wlkthrough for exact instructions). DO NOT USE IT. It damages you as much as anyone else. Head to the southeast now, and youll find a cave entrance. Inside is a chest containing the OIL. Save this for the AEGIS shield later. Now leave the Crevasse and go uptop again. Play around in the West Tower until you find the chest containing CRYSTAL(again, see walkthrough). Find the entrance to the Overworld, use MORPH to speak to the Dwelg, and then return to the world of the living. Talk to the guy in the house in southern Donmac to get the KATANA. Thats the easy part. Heres the trick: now return to the Talon2, passing through the underworld. Speak to Masa twice and hell uncurse the Murasmas sword, turning it into the Sword of Masmune, and hell use CRYSTAL, KATANA, and EMBLEM to forge the Emeror Sword. You now have all four Mystic Swords, so return to the north and play in the Eastern Ruins. Note: the Xcalibr is the most powerful, followed by Masmue, then Emperor, and Durend is weakest. Also, the thing about the Mystic Swords is that they harm even enemies who are strong against damage.

Hint: Tips Versus Maitreya
Before you take on Maitreya equip your team with X-Plane sword,X-Plane helmet,X-Plane sheld,Dragon gloves,Speed armor,and Gold boots,or what ever their called.All the members of your team should also know Cure2. Now to business.Every time you get to the next level save your game and aviod fighting as much as possible. Now when you finally face Maitreya heres what you do.When the fight starts Maitreya will have two of those Medusa things with her,so have as much soft with you as you can carry.Now if any of your team members knows the spell Exit,which is found in the same tower as Maitreya you wont need any soft.Heres what you do,use Exit on the Medusa things itll destory them instendly,but itll take two turns to use it on both of them,but itll destory them.While your one guy is taking care of the Medusa things, the other three members of your team can focus their attcks on Maitreya.Im telling you now,so you cant say I told you it would be easy to beat Maitreya.Itll take you a while to beat Maitrey.She has like 5,900 life points,but if you use cure2 when you are low on health and keep attacking her over and over youll beat her as easyll as 1,2,3.

Stronger Punches
Buy two packs of punches and use the first pack until there is only one punch left, then begin to use the other pack, you wil notice they are much stronger !
Retirement
When you are in the beginning of the game and you lose a person on your team there is a cheaper and easier way to bring them back to life instead of going to the house of life. Simply go to the guild and retire that character. You can pick the same person or a different one. The equipment the dead team member had will go to the new person if it is the same type. If you are in the middle or towards the end of the game I recommend against doing this unless they are all out of hearts and you can’t afford to buy any more hearts. If you do it in the middle of the game the new character will not have the upgrades you gave to the old one.
