Extra bad ending
To add a piece on to the bad ending you have to make sure your money total is $0 by the end of the game. Playing under normal mode and not getting any adapters may also help. Buy a cake and mojo doll to waste the money collected after a country. Also waste a cake before defeating the Boss. If money is accidentally collected, fall down a pit or do something else to start again (usually from Launchpad or the Boss). When the game is completed with a $0 total, you will see Glomgold titled as the greatest adventurer.
Finding the map pieces
Bermuda
After all the water and rings, go up one screen and then left. Pull on the ring and proceed. Pull on the next ring and jump on top of the raised block. Immediately pogo jump off the block on top of the column. Now, pull the barrels toward you with the switch, then pogo off one onto the conveyor belt. Then, jump to the treasure chest containing the map piece.
Niagra
There is an iron box near Webby. Pull it to the ledge to go on top of it. Then, go on top of the chest and golf swing the invisible box. You can now go in a room containing the map piece.
Mu
At the beginning of the level, break all but the last round rock near the large one. Golf swing the last one and the large rock will come loose. Pogo jump off of it and head to the next one and loosen it. Do not break the ones on the floor. Then, pogo off the rock to the ceiling that was behind you. Head across the ceiling to a rope. Climb up and you will reach a clearing and eventually find the map piece ahead of it.
Egypt
There are two square rocks near the beginning. Hit them and go down the waterfall that was under them. Go on top of the last rock to create some waterfalls that you can move on. At the end are some numbered blocks. Pogo on #3 twice, #1 four times, and #2 once. The wall will open up to reveal a map piece.
Scotland
The first time that you climb up a rope, go left. Bounce off the hidden treasure chest next to the wall on the floor above (first hug the wall and jump to see it). Break the square rocks in this hidden area and enter the wall in this place where spears are sticking up. You will find a treasure chest. Break it and fall down the fake floor that was underneath. Hop on the block with an arrow on it and go on the ledges that are appearing. Climb the chain and to get the map piece. Note: You will need the Iron Adapter to get to it. You will transport to the basement, unless this is not your last map piece. (In this case, you must exit through the ceiling to the left of where you are presently located.) In the basement you will find the Secret Treasure of McDuck and a new ending once you defeat the D-1000.

Unlimited Lives
Enter the African Mines without a key to be transported to Transylvania. Climb the mine car tracks and collect extra life. Warp out of Transylvania without the key, and repeat the process.

Donkey Kong Land Cheats
Jumping Tip
If youre having trouble jumping over holes, try this. Walk toward the hole and over the edge. As soon as you start to fall, press the JUMP button and youll clear the hole easily.
Maximum Lives on Level 8
In Level 8 (Gangplank Galleon) enter the bonus stage just past the half-way point. Grab a 1-Up then leave the stage. You can now re-enter it, grab another 1-Up, and repeat the process as often as desired.
Secret Exit in Last Ice Level
In the last ice level, before the boss, in world 1, there is a “secret exit”.
1. When you enter the level, jump in the barrel cannon and press LEFT on the control pad while in the air. This will send you to a bonus.
2. Leave the bonus level, you will be warped to the edge of a cliff. 3. Roll off the left edge of the cliff while pressing LEFT on the control pad. You will fall into a secret exit.
Playing Tips
Heres how to beat the bosses.
World One: Wild Sting Fling:
Start on the far left. Wait about one second. jump and hold right. Do this again. Go to the side that he came out of when you hit him. Jump to the other side. Continue this and you will beat him easily. Notice that he speeds up every time you hit him.
World Two: Seabed Showdown:
get in between the oyster boss and the oyster in the corner. wait till the boss oyster moves to the opposite corner, then move out of the way. His pearl will hit the oyster in the corner and bounce off, hopefully hitting him. Repeat this process to beat the boss. Notice that he speeds up every time you hit him.
World Three: Mole Hole Madness:
wait until the mole looks to an angle, then jump on him. his hard hat should be off so you can hit him. Repeat this process to beat him. Notice that he speeds up every time he is hit.
World Four: King K. Rool:
There are different ways to beat this boss, but I selected the easiest method. Keep your distance, but keep him on the screen. Wait until he throws his crown. Jump over it and land on him. Run across the platform. Jump over him as he runs at you. Jump over the crown again and land on him. Do this a total of six times. Then, when you run acros the screen, DO NOT JUMP!! Run under him. Do this six times, then repeat the first process until he dies. (The first process is jumping over his crown and landing on him.) Notice that he, like the rest of the bosses, speeds up every time you hit him.

Deleting Saved Games
To delete a saved game, press START + SELECT at the Load Game screen.
40 Banana Coins
On the Game Selection screen, hold RIGHT or LEFT in front of the game you wish to play on, then press B, B, A, A. You should hear a chime if you did this right.
Harder Levels
After you collect all 40 DK coins. go to the second Captain K. Rool in the Lost World and beat him. When you beat him there should be a screen that shows Mario, Yoshi, and Diddy.
47 Krem coins
At the game select screen highlight a saved game and press B, A, B, A, B, A, B, A etc. until you hear a sound. Go into the game and save it. You will have 47 Krem Coins.
The Lost World
If you collect all 47 Klemcoins you can visit the Lost World. When you have all of the coins, go to the guy with the humongus club. Give him the coins, and he will let you into the Lost World. If you beat Captain K. Rool again you will see the real ending.
All Kremcoins
On the Game Selection screen, hold RIGHT or LEFT in front of the game you wish to play on, then press A, B, A, B. You should hear a chime if you did this right.
Exit Completed Levels
In completed levels you can press START + SELECT to exit a level.

Unlimited lives
Press Down(2), Up, Left, Right at the title screen. Note: This code has no effect in time attack mode.
Sheepy Shop mini-game
Press Up(2), Down, Left, Right at the title screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Begin game play to start the Sheepy Shop card matching mini-game.
In-game reset
Hold Start + Select and press A + B.
Leave previously completed levels
Pause game play, then press Start + Select.
Unlimited bear coins
Complete the “Lift Shaft Lottery” in the Cape Codswallop world. Enter it again, move left and collect the bear coin. Press Start + Select to exit the level, then replay the level to collect the coin again. Repeat this to collect as many coins as needed.
Bonus lives
Play the “Total Recoil” level in the “Cape Codswallop” world. Collect the extra life in the bonus stage, intentionally lose the present life, and repeat.
All levels completed
At the title screen press Left(2), Up, Down, Right, Left(2), Down, Up, Right, Left(2), Up, Down, Right. You should then hear a sound to confirm correct code entry. Now open up a saved game and all levels will be marked comleted, with the exception of bonuses.
1st Land Boss Hint
If you have been having trouble with the first land boss, here is all you need to do. When you turn into a sword fish the enemy will fire the fist shell, It will chase you about, but very slowly and its not really a problem. When it stops and starts opening and closing, while it is open, ram it towards the boss and it should hurt him. Then quickly go to the bottom right hand corner and you will be out of range of his triple shell shot. Repeat these actions until he is dead!
Time Trial
Once you complete the game (get all DK coins and bonus coins) you can accsess the time trial. All you do is select a game at the main menu and the time trial will come up. To just play normally, select play.
