Unlockable: Hockey Stick
After you obtain the Scorpion sword find your way back to the central room. Turn the turnstile so that the lever is facing the doorway with the save point fountain. Stand facing the opposite doorway and walk up a bit and to the right. You will find a ledge that is one step lower than the area around you. Walk down and grab on to it. Jump to the opposite ledge and jump back and forth to slowly make your way down. Once you reach the bottom drop down to the ledge below it. Wall run to the next wall and get ready to jump off and back and forth to make your way up. Wall run again and when you reach the end wall jump to slow your descent once more, youll eventually grab onto a ledge. Make your way to the doorway that is next to it, but DONT GO IN. Instead keep going on the rocks until you see the area where sand is falling. With the scorpion sword in hand break the wall. Break the rack of weapons and pick up the hockey stick.
As with all special weapons the hockey stick is unbreakable, but if you throw it you lose it for good. It has moderate damage and a relatively slow attack rate.
Unlock Teddy Bear
One of the miscellaneous secondary weapons is the teddy bear. Locate it after earning the Scorpion Sword in the clock (west) tower. There are three encounters with a giant golem enemy in the clocktower when you initially go through it; the first is before you start negotiating the vertical climbing of the tower (past); the second is atop the clock tower (past); the third is is stationary and throws exploding monsters in the clock towers second area (past).
Look for the room where the second giant golem enemy is. You will need to be in the present (so find a time portal) and drop into the water-filled dead end past the golems room. Break the wall and retrieve the teddy bear.
The teddy bear is almost unbreakable and does almost no damage, but has the ability to restore lost life to the Prince with each successful blow on an enemy.
Unlockable: Secret Ending
To get the secret ending simply obtain all 9 life upgrades, when you get to the room before the Empress throne room there will be a new sword waiting for you. It is the water sword and said to be the only thing that can kill the Dahaka. For your final battle, instead of fighting the Empress you fight the Dahaka.
The Dahaka’s attacks are repetitive and predictable. When far away he will shoot his tendrils throw the ground up at you, run around in circles to avoid it making your way ever closer to him. If you get too close hell shoot out his tendrils directly at you, roll to dodge them. As you roll slow down time and go in for some heavy combo hitting, as you get him lower in health the Empress will help you and shoot him off the arena, he will be stuck on the ledge, stock up on sand tanks (They regenerate around the arena) and slow down time or use Ravages of time to inflict maximum damage. Hell eventually get back up and jump at you, constantly roll until he calms down and remains stationary. Repeat the same method as before until he is defeated.
Unlockable: Light Sword
The light sword is the most powerful secondary weapon in the game. When in the mystic caves you come upon a door that you must unlock via switch. Directly after that door there is a drop in the floor. Drop down and break the left wall and break the rack to pick up the light sword. As with all secondary weapons it is unbreakable, but if you throw it you lose it for good. The light sword has maximum damage and maximum attack rate.
Unlockable: Rayman Fist
This is located in the Catacombs. Because the Dahaka is chasing you, consider using slow time to escape him. Get to the section where you have to pull three stones out of the wall to raise the central area. After pulling the first, go to the stairway, make a right, run on two walls and jump to the bar on the right side. Swing from the bar and follow the path and make a quick left. The fist is in a weapon rack to the left. The Rayman fist is unbreakable with a high attack rate but does little damage. If you throw it, you lose it forever.
Unlockable: Pelican axe
In the big room with the hanging gardens and the four levers that have to be activated in order to move on the first time you enter: later in the game you will find a way to the top floor. You will be chased there by the Dahaka in the present. As usual he will chase you all the way to a time-portal. As youre wall-running through the center-aisle leading to the hallway to the time-portal (trust me, when you get there you wont have any other places to go, youll know what Im talking about), notice how the camera turns in front of you and shows the Dahaka get angry and smash a wall. Once you have made it to the time-portal, dont go back to the past, but return to the center-aisle and the wall the Dahaka smashed. You can now jump straight through it. Activate the switch to get the big brick out. Use the brick to get on top of the rail above. Use the rail and continue to the wall to the right. Drop down when you reach that little spot with those ninjas and those transparent Blade Dancers. After youve beaten them, break the wall. Theres a weapons-rack in there with a pink weapon shaped like a pelican. Its one of the miscellaneous secondary weapons.
Hint: Life Upgrade Pedestals
Upgrade Pedestal 1: The first upgrade pedestal is right after you beat Shahdee. Walk up the stairs and you will see a tall altar. Pull it back to open a secret doorway behind it. Follow it throw avoiding the traps to obtain the first life upgrade. Upgrade Pedestal 2 (Past): The second upgrade pedestal is in the area where you first fight the Crow Master. Make your way up the area to the stairway. Youll see a small metal grate. At the bottom of the stores to the left there are some barrels and a switch. Hit the switch, slow down time and make your way to the grate, roll under it. Go through avoiding traps to get the second life upgrade. Upgrade Pedestal 3: When you reach the central hall after obtaining the serpent sword turn the turnstile lever so that it faces the doorway with the save point fountain. Facing the opposite doorway walk foreword and to the right, youll see a ledge. Drop down and wall jump back and forth to make your way slowly down. Once you get down, drop down to the ledge below and wall run and jump off at the end and jump side to side to make your way up. Wall run again and at the end wall jump from side to side to make your way down to a ledge. Make your way to the doorway go through and avoid the traps for the third upgrade pedestal. Upgrade Pedestal 4:When in the Mechanical tower you will eventually reach a Thrall who is throwing spike beasts. Get him to blow up the left wall (Your left when facing the Thrall) Walk throw and avoid traps to get the fourth upgrade pedestal Upgrade Pedestal 5: When you get to the Garden in which you see the whole breathtaking scene make your way up to where you fight Silhouettes and Keepers. Walk to the left to find a ledge where the fence doesnt continue, drop down, move, drop down and wall run to make your way to the doorway across the gap. Walk in, make your way through avoiding traps to find the fifth upgrade pedestal. Upgrade Pedestal 6: Once you turn on the water in Garden works via turnstile, wall run up the wall behind it, walk in make your way through avoiding traps to find the sixth upgrade pedestal. Upgrade Pedestal 7: In the Prison area after you beat Thrall and make your way up. Make your way to the end of the left side and break a wall, youll see a door. Head to the right side and midway throw youll see another cracked wall. Break it hit the switch slow down time and make your way to the first wall you broke head throw and avoiding traps to find the sevenths life upgrade pedestal. Upgrade Pedestal 8: Inside the library when you make your way up from the walkways beneath it. You see a broken doorway, make your way throw it and get to the railings. You need to jump to the other one and instead of heading to the ledge to the left, head to the opposing doorway (which is still intact) Jump to the ledge and make your way to the right side, jump up, and go through to find your way to the eight life upgrade pedestal. Upgrade Pedestal 9: The ninth pedestal is located in the room in which you chase Shahdee and she shuts the door behind her. You are required to make your way up and to jump on a bar to open the door, as you make your way up youll see a cracked grating. Come back here when you have the scorpion sword and break the grate to reveal a crate. Bring the crate out to the left wall, jump on it, wall run up and jump off to reach a ledge above it. Follow the area throw to make your way to the ninth upgrade pedestal. With all pedestals found you will be able to get the Water sword which is in the room before the throne room. It will be in the center. The Water Sword gives you an alternate ending as it is the only weapon capable of defeating the Dahaka.
Hint: Life Upgrade
If you missed the life upgrade that is in the Clock Tower (in the room where you are getting Spike Beasts thrown at you), you can still get the upgrade later in the game by using the Scorpion Sword. After you get the sword and leave the library, you will break through a wall which leads into the Clock Tower. Instead of heading down towards the central chamber, head up and you will eventually reach the room where the Brute was throwing Spike Beasts at you. It doesnt throw them anymore but you can now break the wall on the left by using the Scorpion Sword.

Unlockable Secret Sword
During gameplay, pause and input UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, X, Y, X, Y.
Easter Egg: Sound Credits
This occurs during your second Dark Prince transformation (this is in the large courtyard right before the first chariot sequence). In the corner of the courtyard, there will be a hole in the ceiling that respawns enemies until you leave the area. Near that is a panel you need to stab and hang from to open the exit. Climb the closest pole to the hole in the ceiling and a female voice will start announcing sound credits for the game.

If you didnt manage to snag any shadow pokemon that you wanted, then keep fighting that Mirror B. guy until you catch it.
Hint: Sure Fire 1 HP Attack
All you need is a pokemon with the False Swipe attack. The Zangoose that you get from Zook has it by default. A pokemon with this move can almost always leave any opposing pokemon of lower level with 1 hit point, making it an easy target for pokeballs.

Unlockable: Trade Machine
The trade machine allows you to trade Pokémon to and from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. To unlock the device, defeat the boss of Realgams Colosseum.

If you want to stop being followed from your partner because you think its annoying, go to a staircase and right off the edge walk off and your partner will be stuck up there.
Hint: Catch Ho-oh
In order to find the mythical bird you must first satisfy 2 conditions: 1.
Snag and fully purify all 48 Shadow Pokemon in story mode. 2.
Beat all 100 trainers on Mt. Battle. This can be done in either Single Battle or Double Battle mode.
However, you can only use a team from story mode, not from your Ruby or Sapphire game pack. If you want to get around this rule, simply use the trade center in Phenac City to import your Pokemon into your story mode team.
After beating the 100th trainer on Mt. Battle, Ho-oh will show up and will automactically be transported to your PC.
Note
: If your PC is full, you will not get Ho-oh and must retry the Mt. Battle challange.
Hint: Purify Shadow Pokémon
1.
Put the Shadow Pokémon in your party and walk around with it. 2.
Make it battle. 3.
“CALL” the Pokémon during a battle when its in “HYPER MODE” and make it “COME TO”. 4.
Leave it in the Daycare. 5.
Use the “SCENT” item in the “COLOGNE CASE”. By repeating the methods above the Pokémon will begin to become purified. The purifying process differs based on each Pokémons nature.
Hint: Catch Missed Shadow Pokémon
If, during battle with another trainer, you accidentally kill the Shadow Pokémon, simply leave the area and return. The trainer will want to fight again, giving you a second chance to catch the Shadow beast!

Glitch: Infinite PokeBalls
This glitch gives you infinite any ball. All you need is to have two Pokemon in battle. You need at least one other type of Pokeball thats different to the one your duplicating in your bag.
With the first Pokemon select Items and then the pokeball you are duplicating. Then with your second Pokemon move the firs pokeball by pressing the Y button to the location of the second pokeball. Then you can proceed to attack or use another item with the second pokemon. Your character will throw the first pokeball but it will still be in your bag.

Unlock Anime Part 5
On day 5 there will be a PNF news flash about the Anime 5 Disc. Professor Oak says that Magnemite wont be able to find it. You need to have a Mt. Snowfall pass for this. Take the bus to Mt. Snowfall. Keep moving to the right until you stop. There will be a signpost. Click on it. Once youre in there, there should be a Gengar. Click on it. It will say you need the Duskull Lamp. Leave the Ruins of Truth and go to Springleaf Field. Say “hi” to the Duskull. Answer the question correctly. Instead of a Nice Card or P10 you will receive the Duskull lamp.
Go back to the Ruins of Truth. Click on the Gengar. He should flee. Enter the building. When you get in youll see 2 dots. Click on them. Pikachu will shock them and they will light up and a sign will appear. Click on it. Youll be brought to a tomb stone. Click on it. Youll be asked a question about Pikachu. Click the “X”. The tombstone will be switched with a Golbat statue. Click on it. Pikachu will get stuck. Jiggle the control stick until Pikachu comes out with a disk. After you get out, a magnemite will take the disk. Now you can watch Anime Part 5 whenever you want.
Hint: Express Delivery
Change the date and time of the GameCube (turn on the system with the lid open) to the time you need in the game. You can use this “time-shift” to your advantage when you really need those items, for example after you find the fifth Pichu Bros. Cartoon Disk, you normally need to wait one day for your reward. Instead, adjust the system clock and get your stuff faster.
