Jump Superstars Cheats

When the forces of good, evil, and everything in between clash in a battle of epic proportions, theres only one place for the fight to unfold: on your Nintendo DS. The world of Jump Superstars is a world of absolute insanity, combining characters from Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Steel Ball Run, and many, many more popular Japanese comics. Unfortunately for us in the west, the world of Jump Superstars is reserved exclusively for those in Japan.

Unless! The amazing battle is available to DS owners round the world daring enough import Jump Superstars. The game is very heavy on Japanese text, leaving us English speaking heathens with just the surface of the game to explore. That is, until we here at IGN crafted this complete Jump Superstars guide to get you around the hurdles of a massive language barrier.

Hint: Color Change
At the Menu screen press L or R to change the color of the ink you use to draw with on the bottom screen.

Hint: Card Assembly
As you play through the mission mode, youll unlock various cards that you can use for forming your own battle deck. Some of these cards will come incomplete, and theyll have open slots that need to be filled. Fill these slots with the single-tile character cards in order to make use of the larger cards.

Finding the right single-tile card to fit into the larger card can sometimes be a pain, but theres a trick to make it easier. First, find out how many tiles make up the larger card you want to complete (usually 3-5). On the card selection screen, select the button on the top menu (fourth column) that displays only
the cards with the number of tiles that make up your chosen card. Scroll down to select that card (the incomplete cards are labeled with a purple
badge) and place it in your deck.

Back out to the card list and then press the top menu button that restricts the card list to a particular team (second column). Pressing this button should remove all cards from the list temporarily. However, if you press the top menu button (fourth column) to disable
the tile-count restriction youll be left with a list of cards that match the team of the incomplete card in your deck. This leaves you with just a few single-tile cards to try out, eliminating a lot of fuss when trying to complete the “empty” cards.

Hint Color Change
When making a deck with at least 1 battle character, 1 support character, and 1 help character, press START while holding a direction on the D-PAD to change the color.

Unlimited lives:

Play through the sports equipment level. Collect the following objects after the second spike: lips, ice-cream, violin, globe, and snowman.
Power combo:

Platform: Nintendo DS

Collect the following objects in order on the far right of the hub: penguin, oil, wine, globe and racquet.
Invincibility:

Platform: Nintendo DS

Move to the top of the wall of the castle (above the Arctic Toys sign) and collect the following objects in order: cupcake, hammer, globe, apple, and faucet. James Pond is invincible for the next fifteen minutes. Note: Falling off the screen will still harm your character.

Unlock two secret songs

To unlock the Abarenbou Shougun Theme and Gmen75 theme, simply play a song in the multiplayer mode. Only one DS need to have a Band Brothers game card for it to work, however anyone who has the card should receive the two songs. They will both appear in the “TV songs” section.

Glitch: Continue Playing after Disconnect

There is another way for a friend to continue playing a downloaded multiplayer game. Start a game for download play, and have your friend(s) download the game. After you (the host with the game) have selected a song and instrument, and your friend(s) are on the instrument select screen, if they press Select they will be disconnected from the multiplayer game. However, the song will still be loaded on their systems, and they will be able to play any instrument on that song as long as they want until they turn the system off. The song will still be retained in Sleep Mode as well

Glitch: Continued play upon disconnect.

Start up a multiplayer session (single pack) witha friend. Choose your song, instrument, and begin playing the song. Have your friend close his DS, placing it in sleep mode (assuming you are the one with the cartridge). Itll say theres been a connection error, but even if you turn off your DS, your friend will still have the game on theirs and as long as they dont turn off the DS via the power button (sleep mode works great) theyll be able to play the song you selected over and over

Once you reach the pro level in the main game Score Maker Pro mode is unlocked. This mode allows you to sequence your own compositions and share them with others.
